A discussion group on the delivery of capital WASH projects in humanitarian and development contexts. Project delivery components have been developed over many years to assist with the delivery of engineering infrastructure and services. These are wide-ranging; contracts, specifications, standards, codes of practice, management systems and quality assurance and programmes are among the most widely used methods but many others exist. The majority of these components were developed for use in commercial projects of the industrialised countries in the global North. This group provides a forum in which the requirements for project delivery components are developed and refined so they are appropriate for resource-scarce or precarious environments.
