In the annual HWTS Network meeting, more than 800 members from around the world can connect live and share the latest updates on research, implementation and policy on household water treatment and safe storage (HWTS) and water safety.
This virtual meeting will be inclusive, multidisciplinary and delivered in multiple languages. Members will hear about the latest research and progress related to HWTS on a global scale from leading experts, and join breakout sessions for discussion and idea exchange on their preferred topics.
About the HWTS Network
Household water treatment and safe storage (HWTS) is an important public health initiative to improve drinking water quality and prevent water-borne and vector-related diseases at point-of-use.
Network members come from government, civil society, the private sector, UN agencies, and research. Their varied and rich perspectives will be valuable to help all members to scale up HWTS in different contexts around the world, and strengthen HWTS as part of broader water safety frameworks.
