Webinar: Household and community water treatment with biochar for removal of chemical contaminants

Did you know that the water treatment biochar can be used to remove chemical pollutants from water, and can also be made using local, inexpensive materials? In a new webinar hosted by the HWTS Network, you’ll learn how biochar works and how it can be integrated with other treatment steps, like biosand filtration. Our featured speaker will discuss onsite manufacture, and ways the biochar process can be varied to address different types of contaminants. You’ll also get a sneak preview of the manual, A Field Guide to Biochar Water Treatment.
