What types of handwashing facilities have you been installing in public places or encouraging people to build at home?

Where am I?

Many of you may have seen this great new resource from IDS:

Handwashing Compendium for Low Resource Settings: A Living Document43

If you have some additional innovations to add, then do contact them so that they can expand on the facility types included in this resource.

Find the below fact sheet developed by UNICEF that outlines the different hand washing facilities and supplies. Considering the permanent, semi-permanent and temporary cases, it outlines the key considerations that should be focused in terms of health; design features and local procurement; and user experience and accessibility. I found the detailed categorization that the document provides for hand washing stations and taps used for them to be very useful to make an informed decision in hand washing interventions.  https://www.unicef.org/media/75706/file/Handwashing%20Facility%20Worksheet.pdf 48
