Tal has been involved with CAWST since its inception, eventually joining CAWST as a staff member in 2004 to provide training and consulting services for CAWST clients in Africa. Tal brings his extensive experience in WASH to CAWST. Prior to joining the CAWST team, Tal co-founded Clean Water For Haiti, an organization with which he designed and implemented household water treatment and sanitation projects in Haiti. At CAWST, Tal worked for 13 years providing comprehensive training and consulting support to WASH implementing clients throughout Africa. Tal was also the original Relationship Manager for CAWST's WET Centres in Ethiopia and Zambia. In 2017 Tal transitioned to the Leadership team as Director of Public engagement and Donor Initiatives.In 2020 Tal became a Senior Director of Global Services leading the CAWST Business Objective of Increasing the Quality and Quantity of Capacity Services. In this role Tal oversees the two initiatives of Growing the Impact of WET Centres and Training Partners.
